ps - I think the 'new type of experience' thing in the title could also be 'new type of experiment'. I'm not sure, I'll have to have a look, but I know in Spanish in some cases the same word can mean either experience or experiment or both.

hey Alex,
Good luck with your move. I don't know anyone in Montreal. You might post something to aut-op-sy. (I've hung out with several aut-op-sy folk in the UK and had a great time.) I was thinking the other day that once I've learned to speak some French I should come up to Canada for a trip, to practice. That'll be a good long while, though. I hope you'll participate in the Strategy Of The Refusal discussion at Long Sunday, me and Eric are writing stuff for it. There might be room in the rotation still, if you want to write something, or you could always post something here. I printed out all the stuff from this blog a while ago, before you posted your translation. I've been reading over it slowly. Good stuff here, I think (I'm not impartial, of course). That's a nice feeling. I'm still snowed under with other work but will be back into the Tronti book as soon as I can.
take care,
Nate

Thanks for the kind words. They are much appreciated. I`ll try to post my notes on the readings soon although currently I am offline (new apartment, new computer still in the mail, new connection yet to be activated etc.) except for the occasional trip to the (expensive) internet cafe. Should be online in a week at most. Know anyone or any interesting happenings in Montreal?

Cheers,

Fuck yeah Alex. I'll read this in the next week or so and see how it compares to the Spanish, suggest anything I notice if anything pops out at me. Also will have more comments soon-ish, I just got my copy of the book back in the mail the other day.
take care,

Um, you, like, rule. Thanks so much for this. I've never tried to translate, so I can't imagine how difficult it must be. Man, this is awesome.

I have to read a couple of other things first, but I should get to this in the next couple of days.

Well here it is. My very first translation. Long, tedious but rewarding work. This is a rough draft as there are still a few kinks to work out in the translation as you can see. I don't mind at all this becoming a collective work so feel free to point out where I've messed up and if you like make any changes directly as long as you let me know so I can see where I messed up for future purposes. Hopefully this will help us understand better Tronti's views on organization. I still need to write my own thoughts down which I will do in a few days after I have moved to Montreal and settled in. Depending on how the job hunt goes, I may have lots more time for the upcoming readings.

Cheers,
